My name is Alessio Catoni and since 1993 I
received as a gift my first Staffordshire Bull Terrier from the
breeding of Sandro Maddaloni, owner of the ‘Little Lion King’
kennel. In a short time, my family was fascinated and surprised by
the intelligence and gentleness of this breed. I therefore decided
to breed my bitch with a dog coming from the same kennel, with the
ideal characteristics to complete my nice bitch. In 1997 I enrolled
my first litter as amateur breeder. Since then I kept two dogs for
me and since 2003 I have begun to breed occasionally with all my
maximum effort, particularly in the exposures. In the last two years
I’ve been breeding regularly, managing four bitches and one dog. In
my life, together with my sweet girlfriend, I own a pet shop
complete with a pet shop, stripping and trimming treatment
for Terrier. We both prepare dogs for exposures, specializing our
job in scissor cuts for the Poodle. I am also the President
of the Gruppo Cinofilo Ladispolano “Elio Eusepi”, who manage
and organize cinotechniche shows as exposures, test of work and
social events with the help of many motivated kids. In 2010 we put
up together with the guys of Staffylandia, the third Bull Day
Italia Meeting with the famous scottish breeder - judge Danny
Gilmour as special guest, with the participation of over 40
Staffordshire Bull Terrier. In the last year we organized the Jim
the Dandy 1° Open Show with Liz Stanway (Waystaff) from England. As
you can see, our job life is all spent around the dogs because this
is actually our passion.
